These beautiful plates are quite rare so to find a pair is unusual. They are a very pretty pattern and the quality of the printing is excellent, as you would expect from Spode.
Condition: Both plates are free of chips and repairs, though one does have a star crack on the bottom which doesn’t come through to the top. Both plates have some areas of discolouration, one more so than the other, and this is reflected in the price. The discolouration is less obvious in the flesh than it is in the photos, in my opinion.
Dimensions: The plates measure approximately 22cm by 21cm, and are 5cm deep at the handle end.
