Do you have an antique you’d like to sell?

We are always on the look out for beautiful and interesting pieces of antique furniture and decorative objects. A look through our shop should give you an idea of the kind of things we like, but if you have for sale any of the following items we would love to hear from you:

  • Pre 20th century furniture (the older the better)

  • Antique mirrors

  • Items of treen

  • Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau items.

  • Tea caddies and antique boxes

  • Folk art (including European painted furniture, and items such as decoy birds)

  • ‘Blonde’ Ercol furniture

  • Anything interesting or unusual!

Please email us with the following information:

  • Photos of the item (or items) - the more the merrier, including the backs of pieces of furniture and mirrors and highlighting any areas of damage or repair.

  • A brief description of the item, including dimensions, anything you know about it, how long you’ve owned it and where you acquired it from etc. Please be honest - we are used to restoring items so will not be put off by an item that needs a little TLC!

  • The postcode of where the item is located.

  • Your phone number (if you would like us to call you about the item rather than email).

  • Anything else you think is relevant.

If the item looks like it might be of interest we will get in touch with you to discuss it further and potentially arrange to view it. Due to the volume of enquiries we receive, it may be a few days before we get back to you. If the item is not of interest to us then I will reply to your message and let you know.

We have to be selective about what we buy as we have limited storage space, so we have no choice but to buy only the items that appeal to us the most. Please don’t be offended therefore if we decline your item - sadly I have to say no to a lot of pieces that I would buy if only we had more room!

Items we do not buy are bedroom suites, very large wardrobes (we just do not have the space), and reproduction furniture.

As ever, if you have any questions please get in touch.
