A Chinese blue and white teapot dating from the nineteenth century, with lid and carrying handles.

An blue and white antique teapot, hand painted with chinese symbols and cloud like forms.

The teapot has a few areas of damage as follows - all are shown in the photos:

There is a chip to the rim which is partially hidden when the lid is in place.

There is wear to the glaze on the top edges of the cylindrical body.

There are some very small chips to the corners of the spout - they may be an irregularity in the manufacturing process rather than chips and are not visually obvious, but it feels a little rough when you run your finger over it.

None of the above are detrimental to the appearance of the teapot however and it is an attractive object.

The teapot stands 15.5cm high and is 13cm in diameter. Including the spout the width is 17cm.

UK delivery is included in the price - if you would like a quote for delivery elsewhere, or if you would like to collect the item yourself, please get in touch.
