This would be equally at home indoors or outdoors, though please note that it would need protecting from frost if it was outside. It bears a label to the base, probably from a previous auction sale, stating that it dates from the 18th century - it certainly has plenty of age to it but I can’t say for sure if this information is accurate.
Condition: There are several areas of damage to the upper part of the pot - these are located on one side so it can be positioned to hide them. I can’t see any cracks and it appears to be sound. There is surface discolouration/dirt as is to be expected on this type of item.
