Antique Pietra Dura Occasional Table

Condition: The marble top was very dirty when we acquired it. We have cleaned it as best we can but there are still traces of dirt on the moulded edge. The table base is in good condition other than some woodworm holes in one leg - this does not appear to be recent but we have treated it as a precaution. The castor on the same leg looks as though it has been reattached and is slightly misaligned. The top has been glued to the base presumably to prevent it being knocked off by accident. I think the top probably isn’t original to the base, but the two go very nicely together.
